However, these potential disadvantages make it all the more important to create and implement the right outdoor advertising strategy. Even the most successful outdoor advertising campaigns are not guaranteed to be a success. Not only does this mean more money spent, but it also means a lot of wasted time and effort.
A good marketing plan should have a marketing budget set aside for advertising as well as marketing materials to use for the potential disadvantages of outdoor advertising. This is also a great way to budget your efforts so that your investment goes further than it will if you rely on other methods.
Disadvantages of outdoor advertising include the fact that it can be very expensive. If you are advertising for a business or organization, chances are that they will expect a return on their investment and they will spend a lot of money on it. There is also the cost of creating the advertising and the cost of printing materials that may not be recycled and can cause damage to the environment.
